Recently my son, Michael's, college held their annual Class and Charter Day. It was broadcast live, so I logged on to watch. The opening scene was the stage, set up and ready for the festivities. Beautiful instrumental music was playing. I found myself admiring Hamilton's little touches: the water tucked neatly under each chair, the paper for each speaker on their assigned chair, the efficient crisscross way Hamilton orchestrated the attendees to file in so that they filled up their seats quickly.
As Michael walked on stage to receive an award, I was touched by how the Universe had arranged for him to be back on campus from Nepal, in time to participate in this event. Another little touch.
