So I called the local hardware store and learned that the screening tool, tubing and material would only cost about $10, if I fixed it myself. I've seen people re-screen windows. I liked the idea of doing it myself.
Today I decided to go get the stuff. But it wasn't flowing. The screen material didn't match my other 2 windows, and my conversation at the store became increasingly resistant. It came down to this: I didn't feel good about going forward.
